The rudder is an essential component in kayaking. It allows to effortlessly compensate the course when sailing with wind, waves or currents. The Adventure rudder is reliable, easy to use and resistant. The rudder blade, made of polyamide with fiberglass, is interchangeable, there are 3 different sizes. It pivots 180\u00ba allowing it to be adjusted while sailing in shallow waters or folding it for its storage. This manoeuvre is controlled by a rope from the seat of the kayak and is effortlessly performed by an ingenious lever system. The entire mechanism is easily disassembled without the need for tools and is completely resistant to corrosion due to the quality of the materials used. (Stainless steel spring and screws, brass shaft and other plastic components). The connection to the kayak hull is made with a Quick Release stainless steel shaft. The QR shaft allows to easily remove the rudder from the kayak. This shaft is not detachable, so the choice of the shaft model should be taken into account when purchasing.
