This special feature makes it the ideal footrest for the first factory installation for which the rudder is optionally supplied. In these cases it is not necessary to replace the footrest, removing a screw is enough to release the movement of the pivoting pedal and use it for rudder control. The “Tune” pivoting pedal footrest is adjusted by a 1\/4 turn pivoting rod mechanism that locks the pedal with the end of the rod being inserted into the slots located in the center of the guide. This simple and robust mechanism allows adjustment every 5 mm. The pivoting pedal provides rest in the center of the foot while allowing the rudder control by pressing the top of the pedal. The pedal is provided with a stainless steel spring which allows the tension to be maintained on the rudder lines. The pedals slide on reinforced and very rigid plastic guides. The set is maintenance-free, just has to be rinsed with fresh water from time to time.
